I’m mega excited about this one, because I’ve been working on this project since it started (when I was starting out too), and now it’s nearly ready to air. Animalia is a $20million dollar Australian production (probably the biggest animated thing produced in Australia) , consisting of 40 24minute episodes of 3d animated beauty. If you’ve ever read the amazingly detailed illustrated books by Graeme Base, you’ll appreciate how well the painterly style has been translated into 3d form. It’s screening internationally as well through the BBC, so it’s a pretty big deal (watch out for it!)! Continue reading »
