You’re a Ranga
2nd Pass
I start to cushion and soften in and out of poses, as well as work on facial expressions and follow through and drag. The 2nd Pass is a good opportunity to begin establishing a smooth flow throughout the body of the animated forms.
Lip sync
The jaw opens and closes, but the lips and face need to squash and stretch around the vowels, as well as the brows. This is just a matter of feeling the dialogue, and closely matching the shapes to their respective sounds.’
Refining
Now is the fiddly tinkering part. All the animation curves need to be tweaked and adjusted to work in time with each other, and flow at the right speed. All the tiny subtleties are smoothed out. I also hand animated the shaking of the chimp at each of the 650 frames in the sequence.
And so, at the end of it all, you light and render the scene; grab a drink, and hope it comes out the other end ok in several hours! That’s a really, really skimmed version of the effort that goes into something like this, but hopefully it will give you an understanding!
Give this some love and Digg it, add it to Del.icio.us or StumbleUpon this!

Dude that was awesome. And funny. MORE! I want to be a voice.
That was insanely awesome man. I really loved it. The handshake and the monkey’s fall are a little wonky though.
