National Treasure:Book of secrets

National Treasure: book of secrets is one of those films you go to see, because it’s got Nick Cage in it, and it just happens to be out. I didn’t have huge expectations for this Disney movie, but it was something kinda fun to watch. Seeing an action man like Cage drop down to the ranks of a nerdy treasure hunter who shares a passion for American history was a good laugh. This being said, it feels like it marginalises a huge group of viewers with its over-patrotic references, which only make sense to yanks (haha I say this, though most of my readers are americans..).
As a sequel, it delivered. There was a bunch more running, shooting and car chases, and a bit more story. His character Ben, kidnaps the president and then scores some pretty crazy bling following some instructions = win for him. I swear, the dialogue was some of the corniest tosh I’ve sat through for a while, but I guess you have to consider that this one was for kids (with a PG rating attached).

It looked gay and I never saw the first and I heard it was gay.
I had fun watching it.
I don’t know about this movie. A lot of things just didn’t make sense to me. What was the point of the whole treasure hunt? It had nothing to do with the initial purpose of the movie.
