Jing

In the search for a Win 32 port of the amazing Skitch by plasq (for mac) , I came across this neat little utility called jing, which is both mac and win compatible. It’s a really clean, quick and simple (“quimple”) application that will grab anything from your screen in image or video form, upload it to their server and spit out a sharing link for free! I’m still waiting on the ftp support or an api, so some neat apps to send things to flickr, and vimeo quickly. While it doesn’t have all the neat gizmos that skitch has, or even the support for the 3rd party apps yet - it looks like a good substitution for it until they decide to port skitch over to windows.
