My name is Pasquale D’Silva. I work and study in Queensland, Australia. I’m an animator and illustrator, and occasionally tinker with design. I work with 2d and 3d, and love being creative. Why “darkmotion”? Psh, no real reason. Probably because it sounded so super lame and ironic! I guess I could have called it uterusmonkey , but it didn’t really have that ring.

I freelance and spend most of my time animating, illustrating, writing articles and coming up with new ways to be the world’s biggest dork. Animation is the coolest career ever. I love film, drawing, art, friends, meeting people, hugs, hi-fives and my super secret, awesome someone special.

I’ve been lucky enough to be able to work with an amazing Warner Roadshow studio called Photon VFX, since my highschool years. I have worked as a 3d artist on “The Adventures of Voopa the Goolash”, and as a 3d artist and technical assistant on the BBC’s “Animalia”.

Colophon

While I’d like to say this whole dandy website was all my doing - that would be a lie! I designed it all and coded the majority of it, but since I am no real coder, I had to call on my good friends Joshua Jenkins, and Chris Kalani to help me fix my silly mistakes in markup, or sort tricky stuff out. Josh is pretty much a god of debugging, and Chris is an often naked genius who can spit out markup and css like he is writing an email.
